About the Týn Church
One of the most impressive Gothic sacral buildings in Prague, built from the mid-14th century to the early 16th century. At the end of the 17th century the interior was rebuilt in the Baroque style. The church is an extensive gallery of Gothic, Renaissance and Early Baroque works, the most interesting of which are the altar paintings by Karel Skréta and the tombstone of the astronomer Tycho Brahe.
THE UNIQUE BAROQUE ORGAN
The monumental organ was finished in 1673 and completely restored in 2000. The organ has 29 original ranks of pipes and is an amazing universe of baroque sound.
